About us here at Cwmwdig Water Guest House

Back in history Cwmwdig Water Guest House, St Davids Pembrokeshire, started out as a country smallholding of around 27 acres, with dairy, potatoes and turkeys being the main products. Over the years changes have been made by various owners, until 1987 when my aunt and uncle, Elsie and Eifion Evans, bought the property and developed the Guest House and Restaurant into a successful country holiday business. On their retirement in 1998 I decided to make a life-changing decision and move from Essex, leave the ‘rat race’ of working in London behind, and move to Pembrokeshire to join the welsh side of the family. I brought with me my wife Gill and my four daughters: Emma, Katy, Fay and Heather. It was a huge undertaking with four young children, but one which Gill and I have not regretted.

After the outbreak of ‘foot & mouth’ we decided to sell off the old farmhouse and down size to our present accommodation, in the converted farm barns, but still keeping the lovely views across the countryside, to the sea.

We specialise in making everyone welcome, whatever their needs and requirements, and we look forward to meeting you and your family as you enjoy a wonderful, peaceful country and coastal break in Pembrokeshire at any time of the year.
