We are fortunate to live and work on the edge of the Pembrokeshire National Park and try to do our bit to look after the surrounding area. If you feel the same way, please help us in the following ways. Take your litter home, if left it can kill wildlife and farm animals.

Keep your dog on a lead where there are animals and close to the cliff path. Cwmwdig is not on mains drainage, only flush toilet paper. Don't leave taps running, just a dripping tap can waste 90 litres of water a week! Radiators have thermastats, turn them down don't open the window.

Green Activities... want to leave the car in the car park? please use the Coastal bus during the season which is a hail and ride service from outside Cwmwdig on the coastal road.  Lovely gardens are in the area to visit and our nearest SSI site is to the north of Abereiddy beach.

Water Activities.. A fabulous selection in the area, what do you fancy doing? coasteering, kyaking, surfing or a trip out to one of the islands. Most companies have green and marine environmental credentials.

In House.... We recycle as much as we can.  we give bedlinen and towels to charity, jewellery and foreign coins to Shalom Hospice in St David's. Stamps to support Combat Stress. Milk bottle tops to Lush to turn into plastic sheets for things like playrooms in refugee camps.  Water butts collect rain water to water the gardens. In 2014 we installed solar panels.

It is also very important that you recycle your rubbish whilst in the cwtch correctly, please use the correct bags and bins as advised.
